Camps, Conferences, & Expos

Carthage boasts the largest indoor venue between the greater Chicago and Milwaukee metro areas. The Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center Field House can accommodate up to 4,200 attendees. Carthage offers several dormitory housing options for overnight conferences or camps, from semi-private suites to traditional double occupancy residence halls.

A.F. Siebert Chapel is located in the center of campus, it is the primary space in which the Carthage community assembles for worship, convocations, and other events.

The Jockey Rooms feature beautiful views of Lake Michigan and two rooms (A and B) with additional functional space available.

The A. W. Clausen Center for World Business offers several classrooms, conference rooms, a 200-person theatre, and several indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.

The TARC Field House accommodates up to 4,400 people theatre-style. The TARC offers custom sound and lighting capability, stage rigging capability, and multi-use general recreation capability.

The Tower Terrace includes an outdoor seating area and volleyball court.

The Straz Atrium, which overlooks Lake Michigan, is also home to Carthage’s planetarium. This venue is perfect for networking events and happy hours.

The Campbell Student Union Auditorium seats 200 and includes a multi-purpose stage that is equipped with sound, lighting, a projector, and screen.
